Business advisory benefits
Why it matters

Advisory that is shaped around you, not the other way around

Most consulting is designed for organisations far larger than yours. Nyverra works differently — smaller scope, plainer language, and a pace you can actually keep up with.

What you get

Six things clients consistently find useful

These are not marketing claims — they come from what clients have told us matters most in the first few months of working together.

Owner-level expertise

Our advisers have worked with owner-operated businesses directly — not studied them from a distance. That shapes every conversation.

A clear process

Each programme has a defined structure so you know what happens when and what you will have at the end. No open-ended wandering.

A genuine sounding board

Running a small business can be isolating. Having someone outside the room who can engage with your decisions honestly is often the most useful thing we offer.

Transparent pricing in RM

Every programme has a published price in Malaysian Ringgit. There are no retainer structures with open-ended billing, and no surprises at invoice.

Tangible outputs

Every engagement ends with something written — a snapshot, an action plan, a decision log, or a review summary that you keep and can refer back to.

Local market awareness

We work in the Klang Valley market and understand the context — supplier relationships, regulatory environment, and sector rhythms — that shapes small business decisions in this region.

01

Experience that is directly relevant

The Nyverra team has spent time working inside small businesses — not just advising them from the outside. Syafiq spent over a decade in SME finance before transitioning to advisory work. Nurul comes from an operations background in retail and F&B. Kenneth has guided owner-operators through planning exercises for eight years across the Klang Valley.

That combination gives us a grounded view of the tensions and trade-offs an owner faces. We do not need to be walked through the basics of how a small firm operates.

What this means for you

  • Sessions get to substance faster — less time spent on context-setting
  • Observations are grounded in operational reality, not theory
  • Recommendations account for the constraints a small team actually faces
  • You can push back and expect an informed response

Structured, not rigid

  • Each programme has a clear scope document before you begin
  • Session agendas are shared in advance
  • Written outputs are delivered at defined milestones
  • Room to address what comes up, within the agreed scope
02

Process that respects your time

Owner-operators have limited bandwidth. A consulting process that demands extensive pre-work, long workshops, or repeated follow-up creates friction and rarely gets finished properly. Our programmes are designed to be completed without derailing the week.

The Starter Diagnostic fits into a single day. The Growth Planning Sprint runs over two weeks. The Owner's Advisory Programme spreads advisory contact across a quarter in manageable intervals. Each format is intentional.

03

One consistent point of contact

Many advisory firms introduce a relationship manager for the initial conversation and then hand you off to a junior team. At Nyverra, the adviser who scopes your engagement leads it through to completion. Context is not lost, and you do not spend time re-explaining things from earlier in the programme.

During active engagements, you can contact your adviser directly. Questions are answered within one business day — not queued for the next scheduled session if they are time-sensitive.

Service standards

  • One lead adviser per engagement, from start to finish
  • Direct contact during the active programme period
  • One business day response time on queries
  • Closing review to assess what was accomplished

What you pay for

  • Published prices in Malaysian Ringgit — no hourly ambiguity
  • All deliverables included in the programme fee
  • Payment schedule available for the advisory programme
  • No obligation to continue beyond the programme you choose
04

Pricing that is clear before you commit

We publish our prices because we think the owner of a small business deserves to know what they are getting into before having a conversation. The Starter Diagnostic is RM 480, the Growth Planning Sprint is RM 1,350, and the Owner's Advisory Programme is RM 2,780 for the full quarter.

There are no add-on fees for standard deliverables. If something genuinely outside the scope comes up, we discuss it openly before proceeding.

How we compare

Nyverra vs. the typical advisory approach

This is not a criticism of larger firms. They serve a different kind of client. The point is that their model often does not translate well to a ten-person business.

Area Typical providers Nyverra
Programme scope Often open-ended; scope creep is common Defined scope agreed in writing before start
Pricing Hourly or retainer, often unclear upfront Published fixed price per programme in RM
Adviser continuity Senior pitch, junior delivery Same adviser scopes and leads your engagement
Output format Dense reports designed to demonstrate work Short, usable documents you can actually act on
Time demand Lengthy workshops that pull you from operations Compact sessions designed to fit your working week
SME orientation Frameworks built for larger organisations, scaled down Designed from the ground up for small and micro businesses
Distinctive features

What you will not find elsewhere

The Growth Ledger

Our proprietary planning framework — a simple, single-page record of where your business stands, what you are working toward, and what has changed since the last session. Built for owner-operators who want to track progress without complex dashboards.

The Tip Strip

Each engagement includes a curated list of brief, practical observations — small adjustments or things to watch — that sit alongside the main outputs. Not a comprehensive list, just the handful of things we noticed that seem worth keeping an eye on.

Decision log

For the Owner's Advisory Programme, we maintain a running log of the key choices made during the quarter — what was decided, on what basis, and what was considered but set aside. Useful for reflection and for onboarding a future hire.

No lock-in

You choose one programme and commit to that. There is no pressure to continue into another engagement unless you find it useful. Many clients do return — but that should be because the first programme was worth it, not because of a contract structure.
